When I bought my mattress and boxspring it was about $1400 for both. That was more than 10 years ago. I was really fretting the cost of having to buy another mattress. mI purchased a 3″ gel mattress topper and I think we will get several more years out of the matress before I have to suck it up and buy another one.

I don’t know why anyone would buy a full sized bed anymore. I went from a full to a queen and did not think that the few inches would make a big difference but it was surprising to me just how much of a difference it did make. Full sized beds will soon be a thing of the past I suspect.
